Erase Highlighter Marks in a Simple Do It Yourself Way
So, there is this textbook where you have highlighted. {Perhaps you don’t like the look of it now but just have no clue on what do. You can’t just go and buy yourself new books every time this happens. Well, you can but you will end up spending a lot. If you want to save money, then grab a cotton swab and some lemon juice. Don’t overdo the lemon juice or the text will run. Dip the swab in the lemon juice and eraser the highlighter marks. You will be left with a neat textbook. Great work – a do it yourself project which is fun and easy.
Erase Pencil Marks Without an Eraser
This might sound strange, but you can erase pencil marks from your notebooks and textbooks using your lunch. This is useful when you run out of pencil eraser or misplaced it. All you need is some bread to get the job done. Tear a little piece of bread from your sandwich and use it to erase the pencil marks. In fact, bread was used to erase graphite long before rubber erasers were invented. Do it yourself school hacks will never fail to surprise you.
Attach Papers Together: The Do It Yourself Way without A Stapler
You may have found yourself in a situation where you must hand in a pile of paper with no stapler to keep it together. There is no need to worry if you don’t have one at hand. This is a hack so be prepared for a surprise. Carefully, take a pair of scissors or a sharp knife (do not rush this – you don’t want to cut yourself). Cut a small slot through the corner of your stack of papers. Fold this corner securely and there you go. All done. Make sure that the slot goes through the pile of papers. If you don’t have a stapler, then this is a great hack for you.
